Fresh air, real rock, and that quiet satisfaction of doing something you weren’t sure you could.
You arrive at the crag. Your guide sets up the ropes, runs a short briefing, and gets everyone moving. From there, it’s a full day on real rock. Top-rope climbing, abseiling, and plenty of time to actually enjoy it.
No rushing. No prior experience required. No gear to source or systems to figure out.
Most people who book have never climbed outdoors before. Some have never climbed at all. A few are gym climbers curious about what real rock actually feels like. All of them leave having done something they weren’t sure they could.
If you’ve been thinking about it, this is the right place to start. And you might just meet your next climbing partner while you’re at it.
What’s included:

As much as I was nervous doing the abseiling I’m glad I did. Exciting and a nice feeling of accomplishment.

frequently asked questions
None at all.
Adventure Tours are designed for people who have never climbed outdoors before. Your guide handles all the technical setup, you just climb.
Wear comfortable, active clothing (think gym gear) and a pair of trainers, runners, or sneakers you don’t mind scuffing up against a wall. Pack a lunch and a water bottle and we’ll take care of everything else.
Yes, kids are very welcome. Minimum age is 12*, and all participants (including parents and guardians) need to be booked in. If you’re planning to come along to watch, you may as well climb.
Not comfortable getting on the wall? No problem, your guide will get you involved with belaying instead. Fair warning though: most reluctant bystanders end up on the wall and enjoying it just as much.
*Kids under 12? We recommend booking a Private Guided day instead, so your little ones have the full attention and support of a dedicated guide.
Pay your deposit, then join us for the taster day. It’s a full day out where you get to experience the program, meet your guides and get a feel of what you’ll be able to do independently by the end of the program.
If it’s a hell yes: make your first payment within 48hrs and your spot is locked in. If it’s not quite right: no further commitment required. Your deposit covered the day and we’ll point you towards something better suited.
Reasonably active is plenty. Most locations require a short trail walk to reach the crag, so comfortable footwear helps, another reason to wear those trainers.
Routes are matched to the group and you climb at your own pace. Good systems matter far more than fitness.
Yes. If you’d like an exclusive day out with your own crew, head over to our Private Guiding page to see how that works.
Safety comes first. If conditions aren’t suitable we’ll reschedule and give you as much notice as possible.
