If you’re looking for help learning or improving outdoor rockclimbing skills, you can’t go past the Climbing Company. Aaron is a great teacher, calm, encouraging, knowledgeable and endlessly patient, and really focussed on making sure you understand the logic and principles behind what he teaches you (rather than just a set of fiddly steps you’ll forget as soon as you’re stressed out at the top of a cliff). I’ve done both the learn-to-lead and the sport climbing indoor-to-outdoor conversion courses, and they were both great. 10/10!

Did the learn to lead course with The Climbing Company. SUCH A GREAT COURSE!! I felt so safe and now after completing the course feel confident to go to indoor gyms and do their lead assessments. Even when I had hiccups in the learning process, Aaron helped me along figuring out ways to improve my techniques and for me to understand the learnings. Fun climbing day for three generations, me, my son and three grandchildren. Hamid was brilliant, and the kids got to do loads of climbing. They get fed up waiting when I’m setting the top ropes.
