    The Climbing Company

Refine your systems for bigger terrain and more complex conditions.

If you are already travelling in the backcountry and starting to take on longer tours, steeper lines, or more variable conditions, you are entering a different layer of responsibility.

At this stage, progression is no longer about learning the basics. It is about sharpening judgment, improving efficiency, and making stronger decisions when conditions are less predictable.

The terrain gets more complex, so the consequences are higher. The systems need to hold.

You might be noticing:

“I can get around, but I’m not always confident in my terrain choices.”

“I understand avalanche basics, but I want to go deeper.”

“We’re starting to ski steeper lines and I want tighter group systems.”

“I want to make better calls when the weather or snowpack shifts.”
