What is Advanced Big Wall Climbing?
Building on the fundamentals from Big Wall Course 1, this advanced course focuses on the complex systems and techniques needed for multi-day ascents and more challenging big wall routes.
Course Focus
This course takes your big wall skills to the next level, preparing you for longer, more committing routes and teaching advanced systems for efficiency and safety.
Our group spent the weekend with Aaron learning Anchoring, abseiling, and top roping skills. His teaching methods were very clear and understandable. He was calm, professional, and reassuring, which is what I personally needed due to my fears of risk and heights. By the end of the course I was able to confidently place an anchoring system that I was confident in and took away the skills that would allow me to do it outside of the class environment.

Had a fantastic experience completing my lead climbing training. The instructors were both excellent, attentive, knowledgeable and always focused on safety. The small group format meant plently of opportunities to practice belaying, clipping and climbing with personalised coaching and feedback. Highly recommend for anyone looking to build confidence and skills in lead climbing!

Aron and Jack were both very responsible and professional. They explained each technique in detail, including how to use the equipment properly and the common mistakes to avoid. They also pointed out many of the mistakes we made during the practical sessions and helped us understand how to improve.

Aaron’s Indoor Learn To Lead course was the perfect introduction to the finer skills, techniques and tricks for indoor lead climbing. Thoughtful instructions, a great sense of humor, and an encouraging attitude made the course very enjoyable. Would highly recommend if you’re curious about lead climbing and ready to take the next step!

I booked the Alpine Course 1. It was quite a large group that was then divided into 2 smaller groups, which I really appreciated as it meant that my course instructor Darcy was able to provide more personalised feedback. We were taught the basic skills required to move safely in the mountains in winter. I would highly recommend the course! Darcy was great and I learnt lots
