Top-Rope Guide Assessment
The scheme can be entered at this level, TRG is a foundation level qualification that covers the skills required to look after participants in top rope climbing and abseil environments, participants on the TRG courses should be active climbers (though there is no requirement to lead climb) and should be familiar with climbing in outdoor environments.
Entry requirements:
• Must have completed an approved TRG training program or gained an exemption from the ACIA.
• Must present a logbook detailing (at least) the minimum requirements of climbing and instructing experience (consolidation requirements) since the training course.

Did the learn to lead course with The Climbing Company. SUCH A GREAT COURSE!! I felt so safe and now after completing the course feel confident to go to indoor gyms and do their lead assessments. Very well taught lead course that prepares you well to lead with a number of common belaying devices.

Fun climbing day for three generations, me, my son and three grandchildren. Hamid was brilliant, and the kids got to do loads of climbing. They get fed up waiting when I’m setting the top ropes.
A fantastic experience, recommend for anyone thinking about giving climbing a try, a great way to get into it!
Rob was an absolute Lad. He did great explaining all the safety stuff. Great spot to learn and they are great teachers. Rob’s communication was great. Overall a amazing experience.
